Comment: I wonder if you can help me here in the UK as I am doing some research into a 1954 MG TF1500 (HDP46/6819) that was owned by a Mr Owen L Gahagan of initially Santa Monica in 1960 and Newport Beach in 1994 when he sold the vehicle to an owner in the UK.

The car is in really good condition and has all the correct matching numbers and is still finished in the original Ivory paintwork, but has been re trimmed at some stage with Black Vinyl instead of the original Red Leather trim

I know the vehicle was supplied to the USA 2nd Sept 1954 and that Mr Gahagan had a certificate of ownership for the vehicle in 1960 when it appears to be registered as KGT 495, and when he sold it in 1994 it was registered as INF 790.

I realise this info is before your club start date, but I am trying to research the history of the car before 1960 and wondered if there was an earlier owner before Mr Gahagan that anyone knows of, or any reason for the change of reg number?

Thanks in anticipation of your help.

Brian

Comment: For Sale 1960 MGA 1600. I am helping a friend sell her late husbands MGA. The car has been stored in her garage for several years.
It is in a 2minus condition, engine runs. the car is in need of some TLC. NO WATER IN OIL AND NO OIL IN RADIATOR or oil in sump that i could detect. Car has roll bar over both seats and I think was raced a bit. Non original engine. steel wheels.
I have some pictures that I can forward along with a short video of the engine running.
Car is located in the Northridge area. Any fair offers will be considered.
