‘MG Story’-Ed Kessler, MG 1955 TF1500
The story behind the MG that I have relates principally to my advanced age of 92. Prior to the MG I had a TR4A-1966 that I loved but decided this year that I was so far over the hill at 92 that it made no sense to continue to drive a sports car. So, this January, I sold it. Shortly thereafter, my wife and daughter made the point with me that I no longer had anything in the garage that consumed my interest such as a lovely sportscar needing my loving care. They insisted that I must have something to fill the vacancy, both in the garage and with my spare time (of which I have more than quite a bit!). So, being outnumbered and outsmarted by wife and daughter I relented, bought the MG from someone in Denver, Colorado, and now happily spend almost all of my spare time in the garage making love to the beautiful MG TF1500.
